2021 Resource Allocation Competitions Now Open — Apply before November 5

The Compute Canada federation invites researchers to apply, starting today, to our annual Resource Allocation Competitions (RAC). These competitions give you the opportunity to have access to more compute, storage and cloud resources. Applications submitted are evaluated for both technical feasibility and scientific excellence.

How to apply

All proposals must be submitted electronically through the Compute Canada DataBase (CCDB) by Thursday, November 5, 2020, at 11:59 PM (EST).

Important information

  • The program to support special requests for ARC resources needed for COVID-19 research will end on March 31, 2021. If you have received one of these allocations and you expect that your need for resources will continue after April 2021, you must submit an application to the 2021 Resource Allocation Competitions.
  • If your resource needs are less than the limits mentioned above, you should use our Rapid Access Service and should not submit a RAC application.
  • You can view your past resource usage here: https://ccdb.computecanada.ca/me/group_usage
  • Visit our Available Resources page for RAC 2021.
