Manage your Blocked Email Addresses on FASmail to reduce spam

Spam and Junk mails can clog up your email inboxes and contain potentially harmful attachments. To ensure you are maintaining a safe inbox as much as possible, you can put frequent junk/spam senders on the blocked email list. This prevents the senders from sending junk/spam email to your inbox.

To block senders, you may simply right click on their email (ctrl + click for Mac users) and mark it as junk. The sender will be added to the blocked senders list.

If you wish to review your blocked senders list, you need to log in to UBC Webmail at https://mail.ubc.ca/ and sign in with your CWL ID and Password. Click on the Settings (gear icon) on the top right corner next to your profile picture. Select ‘Options’ on the dropdown list that appears. Under Mail> Accounts, select ‘Block or Allow’ list. This opens the list of email addresses you have blocked. You may edit, delete or add email addresses to this list.

You may also check the Junk Email Reporting Settings to ensure that you are sharing reports with companies that fight junk mails.
