With the ongoing restrictions on fuel purchases by the provincial government, some faculty and staff members might be working remotely in the upcoming week. We recommend that you use UBC’s Cisco myVPN client when connecting to the UBC network from off-campus and when using non-secure wireless networks. myVPN encrypts your data and provides secure access to UBC online resources. Encryption prevents others from intercepting your private information such as usernames and passwords. UBC IT has instructions on how you can install and setup the VPN client on your device.
