UBC faculty, staff, and students can be nominated a wide variety of internal and external awards that recognize their hard work and efforts. | Killam Teaching Prize | The Killam Teaching Prize is awarded to acknowledge outstanding teaching and learning contributions made by teaching faculty in LFS. | Next Call for Nominations in December 2025 |
| Killam Graduate TA Award | The Killam Teaching Assistant Award is awarded to an outstanding Teaching Assistant who has demonstrated ongoing dedication to and improvement in teaching. | Nomination deadline by February 20, 2025; support letters and nomination package are due by March 6, 2025 |
| OER (Open Educational Resource) Champions | An open education champion is an individual who has made a significant contribution to the use of open educational resources (OER) at UBC Vancouver – this award recognizes the faculty, staff, and administrators who dedicate their time to fostering accessible education at UBC. | 2023 Nominations Closed |
| BC Teaching & Learning Council, West Coast Teaching Excellence Awards | The West Coast Teaching Excellence Award celebrates excellence in teaching in publicly-funded colleges, institutes, and universities of British Columbia and the Yukon. | 2023 Nomination Closed |
| NACTA Distinguished Educator Award | THE NACTA Distinguished Educator Award recognizes meritorious service to NACTA and to higher education through teaching, educational research, and/or administration. | 2023 Nominations Closed |
| NACTA Teaching Excellence Award | The NACTA Teaching Excellence Award recognizes individuals whose efforts represent the very best in agricultural higher education.
