This session will be held on Friday, October 28, 2022 at noon (PST). Lindsay Cuff (Assistant Professor of Teaching, Faculty of Forestry/Land and Food System) will be leading the session this week.
Are you curious about creating an open online textbook for your course? Or perhaps you’re looking for interactive resources to better support your students’ writing. In this week’s Lunch & Learn session, Lindsay Cuff, Assistant Professor of Teaching and course designer and coordinator for LFS 150 and FRST 150: Scholarly Writing and Argumentation, will share and reflect on her experience creating Writing Place, an accessible and inclusive scholarly writing textbook that empowers students to contribute to scholarly conversations in their disciplines and asks them to consider how their contributions can be shared with communities beyond the university.
Join Lindsay and the Learning Centre team to explore her experience creating an OER textbook. To register for the series, please visit https://ubc.zoom.us/meeting/register/u5cscumsqDwrG9OI5NHXco_FeqnmI0pzdWM1
