There have been new developments for pre-assigning students to Zoom breakout rooms related to privacy issues. At the moment, the method for pre-assigned Zoom breakout rooms requires additional assistance. UBC is developing campus wide messaging.
In the interim, if you would like to use breakout rooms in your class this week or next we can work with LT Hub to facilitate this. Please submit your ticket to it@landfood.ubc.ca with the Subject Line: “Zoom breakout rooms” including the course number and we will work with our colleagues in the LT Hub.
