Outlook Patch

For Outlook users getting prompted to input their UBC email password and the password is not accepted and keeps asking for your password, you run this registry patch.  For the Windows Outlook client only.

CLDP AutoDiscover O365 Fix 2016

To run patch,

Before this, quit Outlook.

1) Click the link above to download the zipped file.

2) Right click on the zipped file and select Extract from the popup menu.

3) After extracting this will created a folder with the same name at this location.  Open the folder.

4) Right quick on the file named CLDP AutoDiscover O365 Fix 2016.reg. Select Merge command.

5) This will update the registry disabling auto-discovery in Outlook.

6) Launch Outlook and you will not be prompted for your password.

7) Still asking for password?  Email it@landfood.ubc.ca requesting assistance.
