This year’s LFS Teaching Symposium will be held on Monday, May 5th, 2025 from 10am to 1pm.
This year’s theme is Artificial Intelligence: Ideas, Benefits and Drawbacks and our special guest is Elisa Baniassad, Professor of Teaching in Computer Science, current Deputy Academic Director of the Centre for Teaching, Learning and Technology, and soon-to-be Academic Director of the Learning Technology Hub.
In this year’s symposium, we will be discussing opportunities for innovation and debate the positives and negatives of the increasing use of AI in higher education. This event will be mainly discussion-based with lots of time for participants to discuss their thoughts on the topics at hand.
