Summary:
Should discussions be a larger component of your online class?
We explored why and how you can host discussions. Then we tried out the simplest to implement the forum: Canvas Discussions.

  • The discussion board and all other resources including the plug-in Threadz is available on the home page.
  • For accessing the discussion board, click on ‘Discussion’ in the left side menu and follow the thread ‘Facilitating Discussions’.
  • The application Threadz can also be found on the left side menu and will require you to grant access to your participation in this course. Note that this information will only be for this demo course and will not affect any other courses on Canvas.
