Lunch & Learn Series: Instructor perspectives on teaching a large online introductory science course during the COVID-19 pandemic with Sandra Brown and Maja Krzic

June 10, 2021

This session will be held on Friday, June 11, 2021 at noon.

Sandra Brown and Maja Krzic will discuss their experience transitioning a large on-campus introductory soil science course into the online setting. This includes the consolidation of existing course material, developing a weekly structure which aligns content and assessment with learning outcomes, combining synchronous and asynchronous components (including virtual lab/office hours), and the creation of new online resources which have utility beyond the COVID-19 pandemic.

Join Sandra and Maja this Friday to discuss their online teaching experiences. To register for this session, please visit https://ubc.zoom.us/meeting/register/u5cscumsqDwrG9OI5NHXco_FeqnmI0pzdWM1
