This session will be held on Friday, October 8, 2021 at noon. The discussion will be led by Edmund Seow and Wayne Tamagi from the LFS Learning Centre.
OneDrive is Microsoft’s cloud-based personal document management solution. It’s one of many components of Microsoft’s Office 365 platform which also includes online applications such as Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, OneNote and Teams. With UBC’s OneDrive account, you get 1 Tb of cloud storage for your files and folders.
OneDrive is FIPPA-compliant and is the replacement for the UBC’s Workspace service. One of the features of OneDrive includes syncing between your cloud and computer: it will keep track of additions, changes or deletions in your local OneDrive folder with the OneDrive cloud storage and vice versa. In this session, we will go over OneDrive’s different features, setups for local sync folders, and how you can use it for your own file management.
Join us this Friday to discuss and learn more about incorporating OneDrive for your workflows and collaborations. To register for the Lunch & Learn series, please visit https://ubc.zoom.us/meeting/register/u5cscumsqDwrG9OI5NHXco_FeqnmI0pzdWM1
